  1. Got our Flatbed Aplicator in - Tips?

That's good to know. A little hesitant to treat this cutting mat like the others in our shop, since it's like 10x the cost to replace. Have you noticed any issues masking or laminating on a mat that's all cut up? I'd imagine it wouldn't make any difference for mounting to substrates.
  2. Got our Flatbed Aplicator in - Tips?

Figured I'd start a new thread, now that the table has landed. We got our Rollover table installed on Monday...a long Monday... Classic model, 13'x5.5', adj. height. When I first saw these tables years ago, I scoffed, what was the point, can do everything already with a $6k roll...
  3. Shout Out To Cheap Wrap Tools

Would be interested in hearing if you think they are the same or equal quality to the olfas. Not that they are a huge budget breaker, but just curious if this stuff is the same as name brand? We have tons of GW squeegees over the years, and tried a handful of the cheapwraps ones last year...

  5. Deciding on a flatbed Laminator

Ended up going with the Rollover Classic table. 13'x5.5', adjustable height. Gets delivered tomorrow. I'm excited, think it will really speed up production. Any pointers or tips for table location/setup? Or anything you wish you knew day one that you know now?

  9. What material for floor decals on carpet?

Do you know who makes it/sells it? I don't see it on grimco or fellers. Edit. Nevermind its on fellers.
  10. What material for floor decals on carpet?

Need to make distancing floor decals, but the entire building is carpeted. Very commercial type carpeting, don't know quite how to describe, but very thin not much carpet to it. Is there a material designed to deal with this? They are also concerned about damaging the carpet on removal...
  11. Deciding on a flatbed Laminator

So between Rolls Roller, CWT and RollOver hard to pick a favorite. Hardly any bad reviews for any of them, the upper end models anyway. Tons of reviews on CWT and Rolls Roller, not so many reviews for the RollOver. So really boiling down to turnaround time and pricing. I'm a month or more...
  12. Deciding on a flatbed Laminator

Who are you all purchasing your CWT tables from? CWT directly or from a dealer? I see on their website they have a new model, the evolution. Looks pretty slick.
  13. Deciding on a flatbed Laminator

Thanks FatCat. Have seen your posts about the CWT on here. I really do like everything about the CWT, no crossbar, good pricing, and good reviews. I just wonder about the bow in the table. Do you have to make sure everything is done in the center of the table to avoid skewing? Does the bow...
  14. Deciding on a flatbed Laminator

Yes I have been looking at the kala aplikator also, would be very convenient using the same shafts. But what I've read from a couple threads on here, because of the bolt together assembly (which enables table expansion) the unit isn't as rigid as the others and this causes problems with...
  15. Need Help Rollover Pressure..

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but... How do you like your rollovers? Looking to purchase a flatbed applicator and am researching the rollover. We would be primarily mounting to substrates and applying pre mask. Very little if not zero laminating. How does the rollover handle masking large...
  16. Deciding on a flatbed Laminator

Ok pretty set on getting a table now. Just need to figure out which one and from who. As already stated, we will be using the table for, I'll say 95% mounting and masking and I doubt we'll ever laminate with it. We also have an entry door within our shop that it will need to fit through, 72"...
  17. Deciding on a flatbed Laminator

Great feedback everyone, thanks! Need to hear more about these issues with premasking. Those who are having issues, are you doing a similar method to the video ikarasu posted? Good and easy pre-masking is a must for us.
