I think your hourly design/layout rate is fine but I wouldn't change the rate depending on
what task your doing at the time to finish the job; especially the less attractive ones like
weeding reflective, masking, trash etc...
She needs to upgrade her Flexi software to 10 or you need to export your file to the version she is running.
The latest version of Flexi will open all file from previous versions but older version won't open newer Flexi files. Most software works like this...
If the design is the same for all three walls and all three walls are done at the same time $800 per wall is fair. Dry brushing/rolling that logo on the brick would go pretty quick.
Loved my AE60E a long time ago and sold it in working condition after I found out they folded.
Time to invest in a new plotter and upgrade your software.
He took the software and cables and left the printers and foils?
Did he plan on coming back and was locked out?
Are they free?
How about some more details...
- Print on Cast reflective White.
- Laminate with Cast laminate.
- Apply to substrate... When the life of the sign runs out apx. 5? yrs later, you will get an order for new signs.

Isn't there similar products available? I don't like flavored water but I'm pretty sure I've seen this in supermarkets already.
If the logo can be printed in one piece just slice between the roll-up panels.
If you need to panel the job, like the others have said use horizontal panels to avoid the overlap.
Power wash it to bring back the natural color of the wood if possible.
Keep the natural grain of the wood and stain it with two shades of semi-transparent stain, natural wood colors. One shade for VFW, background another.
I think the red, white and blue may be a bit much...
