I LOVE my Summa F!!! It has done everything I needed it too. I have the 1612, the small one, and have no issues with the size. If budget and space allowed, yes, I would definitely go with the 1832! I have most of their tools, let me know if you have any questions.

They gave me, what appeared to be a translucent yellow vinyl. I put that over the sensor and it was able to read them on chrome.

I went with the Fuji Acuity LED1600. It has been great for what it is! I heard some horror stories from the Mutoh after I got mine, so I am glad I didn't go that way.

When I was looking at them, I was told if you want white and clear, you can only do CMYK. You have to have 2 channels dedicated each to white and clear

Did you do them with your head height at 1.5mm? I was told by my tech that if you have the head height higher, you will have issues.

I bought all 3 as they had, still might have it going on, 20% off. I have found a few things in Illy that it doesn't do, but I personally think it is a lot faster at some various tasks!! With any software change, it feels odd compared to what you are used too, but I guess Illustrator felt weird...

I know here in the states they had a bad batch of Lt Cyan not too long ago. That could be part of the problem. If I remember right, that means the subtank is too low. Are there any issues with the ink pump/tube? Might need to be replaced.

I Have routed plywood and hardwood. Both came out great. I just have the standard router. Just make sure you use the correct bit.
