  1. Polished edges on acrylic

Turn the flame sideways along the edge of the acrylic. There are a number of good instructional videos at some of the acrylic manufacturers and suppliers websites.
  2. Suggestions Recommendations for all around virus/email/malware/ransomware etc. protection?

OK, I'm not trying to have a debate about this, I was just trying to offer a suggestion to the OP. I had a web meeting with them last week and they sounded impressive, that's all I know.
  3. Suggestions Recommendations for all around virus/email/malware/ransomware etc. protection?

I guess that is why they now partnered with what appeared to me to be a very high quality cyber protection firm. Here is their link: https://agilecybersecurity.solutions/
  4. Suggestions Recommendations for all around virus/email/malware/ransomware etc. protection?

Are you a Canon customer by any chance? They have a partnership with a very formidable company that offers a very comprehensive cyber security plan. It seems to be primarily for large companies but they do have something they offer for small businesses too.
  5. Discussion Pricing your print/jobs/installs >>MEGA Thread<<.

Pauly, I have actually been trying to do the very same thing as you although I also have some experience with FileMaker Pro and I do believe that a great solution can be built there that would do everything in one place. None the less, it can be a lot easier and faster to test these things in...
  6. Discussion Pricing your print/jobs/installs >>MEGA Thread<<.

I'm not sure why there is a disconnect here but we don't want to corrupt Pauly's good intentioned thread right at the beginning so I'll offer my opinion in the hope we can move forward. Pauly, you seem to be starting out with Excel to create some detailed formulas or pricing tables to cost out...
  7. SG2-300 Nightmare for Diecut Stickers! Help

Hi Bob...Any plotter that is specifically designed to "die cut, perf cut or half cut" will usually have a separate cutting strip that is soft, like foam and there is usually a separate spot to insert the cutting blade, which is offset from the regular blade holder and cutting strip. Personally...

  10. Sheet nesting

I agree that consistency is critical to a proper pricing strategy. I think though, for pricing similar signs to your original example, a good approach would be based on linear footage. If you did that, then a 24x18 would be 6 sq ft, which is a calculation that you could easily build into...
  11. Sheet nesting

Here's your example implemented at CutListOptimizer.com, perhaps you could just link a solution like this instead of trying to come up with the formula
  12. Sheet nesting

You are looking for the calculation that equals "Optimize" in the example above. If you could edit the title of this thread to be "Sheet Nesting with FileMaker Pro" you might attract more members that are familiar with FileMaker Pro however, you've already got one of the best on board with...
  13. Problem with Gerber Dimension 200 router

Here's a link to the Owners Manual: https://www.gerbertechnology.com/downloads/PDF/fastfacts/literature/D200_Users_Manual.pdf I've never seen a Service Manual but I have a wiring schematic for the D200, PM me your email address
  14. CNC Machinist New to Sign Making

That bit is not for cutting HDU it's for cutting styrofoam or something else, I've got a dozen of them and they do not work on HDU.
  15. CNC Machinist New to Sign Making

Cutting 3" thick HDU is a unique special challenge, the most typical thing is to cut standard 2" thick HDU and despite being one of the most common things in the sign industry it is very difficult to get good information regarding bits, feeds and speeds. If you notice on this nice chart provided...
  16. Rotary engravers

Vision seems to be good choice in that area: https://www.visionengravers.com/ Also, Xenatech was another in this area but recently I've seen they have a lot of complaints so I'd steer clear of them

  19. HP Latex 360-Flexi profiles

A lot of manufacturers will provide profiles if you search each of their websites for the particular product you are looking for but Flexi specific profiles are not the easiest to find. Also, Grimco provides quite a few HP 360 profiles for Flexi. You need to register then go to...
