I blast granite tiles for our local Am Legion Hall. I use cheap old vinyl from stock and double it. Have to adjust blade and force on cutter to accommodate but it works well for shallow blasting. More like etching really. If doing thin glass, a single layer of vinyl and etching cream works well.

Up until my printer laid itself to rest, I had not made a cut vinyl foam core or coro sign with cut vinyl in 10 years. If you have print capability it just makes sense to print 4x8 and mount then cut. Less material and time for end product. Less time = more$$.

Willing to bet you could have produced it a lot faster with a full mounted print rather than all the work cutting and taping something you printed on vinyl to begin with. You should get five of those from a 4x8 of foamcore, print six sheets, mount, cut, deliver.

Stop using soap and water. Rapid tac II is for glass and infinitely better on it than original rapid tac. Def wet the back of paper transfer tape to remove.
