    Why go for high maintenance? I'd skip the vinyl and just paint...and then do something textured to look like real clapboard siding...or any other material. JB

    Nobody has mentioned the walls yet, but the bad one is on vinyl siding, which absorbs and retains heat more so than the concrete block. Block has the ability to dissipate the heat better. JB
