Don't get the 48"...get a 54" or even larger. It is more useful for your future and will hold it's value better as it is more useful to anyone else too.

I would definitely get a 54" plotter at a minimum and not a 48". I have an excellent Mimaki 54" plotter that I might be selling if you are interested.

There are many adhesive vinyls from most manufacturers available with a temporary adhesive made for just this purpose. As far as the substrate, anything will work, my first thought would be an aluminum composite.

I think you would really be best off with a regular laminate. From my experience, those realty signs are often piled on top of each other in a hot car trunk and will get stuck together if they aren't laminated. I'd be especially concerned about that with a liquid laminate or any other clear...

Looks like an edited version of Kabel. The 3 and 5 are exact matches but the 2 is a little off. The angle on the shortened 2 seems to be unusually straight so I believe it was edited.
