  1. In Mold Transfers

The short explaination is... In mold transfers are graphics that are placed in a mold, such as a plastic injection, rotation, or a blow mold. After the plastic part is made and cooled in the mold, the graphic is pretty much part of the plastic part. Sp

  4. Excessive Print Size

Exporting as an EPS. Duh... I didn't think that there might be something floating out there. I'll check it. Initially I just wondered if I was setting something up wrong with a graphic of this size. SP
  5. Excessive Print Size

I've got a graphic that is 27" by 33" that I want to print out on an SP-300V. When I pull in to Versa Works and go to set up the print job, it tells me that the print area is something like 35" X 107". The "picture" of the graphic in Versa Works has a blue box around it that shows the...

  7. Big Squeegee for under 20$

This thread servers as another perfect example. Like I've said before about this site... great place to learn and get information, but you sometimes have to have alligator skin. The tone and attitude of some people leaves alot to be desired and is sometimes just plain rude and unjustifiable...
  8. Attention all newbies

Gino, No problem. You're words were well taken. Right or wrong, when dealing with people I've always believed that management is manipulation. We all have to manage people in our businesses, lives, and families. And I use the the word manipulation not in a negative connotation, but more...

  10. Tape Residue On Rolls

Being a newbie... is it wrong to put a rubber band at each end of the roll? I put a rubber band at each of the roll. It falls within the area that the pinch rollers track. Sp
  11. Attention all newbies

If I were the one that posted the "What do you think of this?" thread, my objection would be to the tone that is used more often than not right out of the gate. Many of the responses in these type of threads do not start off with constructive criticism, but with derogatory comments about skill...

  13. Design for a school that will be printed tomorow!!

It is possible that they've gotten permission to use the same logo. There's two schools within a 60 mile radius of us that have persmission from the NFL and the NFL teams use their images. The only difference with them are the colors. SP
  14. Am I saving the file incorrectly?

jhilldesigns, I saved the file the way you suggested.... bingo! So if I have a file that I want to print over and over, but let's say change a name on the board, I should save the original as a .cdr, then save the file with the desired name change as the EPS file so it will pull into...

  17. Am I saving the file incorrectly?

I'm having an issue opening up an EPS file after saving it. I'm using CorelDRAW X4. I'm doing a graphic for a yard sign. When finished it's 24" X 18". The file size is 28 MB. When saving the file, I'm exporting it as an EPS file. When I try and reopen it with Corel, it says there was an...

  20. Need help....looking for this

Thanks... but yours looks better! We just started doing our own graphics for the line of racing equipment we make. My head hurts most days from trying to learn and remember all this "stuff". I was 46 when I started down a different path career wise... thus "Route 46". Anyway, back to your...
