  1. Suggestions Matching toy hauler wrap to Motorcoach (colors)

They did that already, was triple the cost I guess and permanent so they decided against it. The owner of it is in the body shop business so that was his first hope however its not feasible cost wise and they want it to be as resalable as possible. Owner also understands a perfect match is not...
  2. Suggestions Matching toy hauler wrap to Motorcoach (colors)

Totally appreciate your honesty. I totally get what you mean. Knowing it was going to be more difficult than a typical wrap ahead of time I priced it accordingly. I think we have some Have some pearl white and silver metallic both at the shop, might give a sample or two a shot on that just for...
  3. Suggestions Matching toy hauler wrap to Motorcoach (colors)

    Did that first... No avail.
  4. Suggestions Matching toy hauler wrap to Motorcoach (colors)

Hey all, Was approached by a customer woh bought one of those fancy toy haulers to haul behind their motor coach. Trailer is white, motor coach is not. They want them to match. Design wise not a problem, already recreated the design and sized it up appropriately to the trailer being wrapped...
  5. Vehicle Wrap - Looking for Feedback Critique

Assuming this is intended to be a fully printed wrap and not just print cut, correct? Besides some of the advice mentioned above make sure the clients color expectations are not for this. Beside it being a hideous color combination hitting colors that bright as a combo will be likely near...
  6. Big clients that don't pay on time?????

Some very good advice in this post, I'm sure we've all been here. For any and all new clients we are 100% pay up front until we get comfortable with each other. Then it typically moves to 50% deposit, balance on completion. We do not offer any of our clients net 30 / 60 / 90 etc., although we...
  7. Am I making the right decision

I’d agree 100% with everyone else that suggests a wholesaler for your printing especially if it’s not a regular daily or weekly thing you’ll be doing! Printers that sit idle can turn into a huge expense when not used regularly. Plus you’ll need a laminator to laminate your prints for longevity...
  8. Finally!

Exactly my point. Everyone has different ideas, it's our job to point them in the right direction for maximum effectiveness.
  9. Finally!

Couldn't agree more with this information. It goes along with the ones that say, "I don't know just make something cool!" UGH. Or those who think a jazzy design consists of every different unreadable font, filter and more colors than the spectrum holds. "Jazzy" can be fun and effective if...
  10. Computer to show proofs

We previously had a wall mounted tv that would scroll thru images of our past work similarly but I wouldn't touch the let them watch me work thing with a 100' pole. Whether this is / was your intention or not I feel like its an open invitation or many customers might assume so at least. Never...
  11. Vinyl Decal to car - DIY or Professional Installation?

I learned back when I was 16 to not LOVE car customization until I could afford to do it right. By then I grew out of having my own cars "customized" outside of maybe window tint or wheels. If you can't or are not willing to spend what it takes to do it right, save you money and wait or don't do...
  12. Discussion Police car graphics gone bad

Departments tend to look for the cheapest option available in my last few experiences. It looks like in this case they got it. Even had the cheapest option in town copy a few of my different designs for (with watermarks) agencies that liked the design but not the price. Win some, lose some...
  13. Plucked Chicken Background

Found a couple on Shutterstock as well that might work with a little editing. Going to take some work to get it right. Side note: Never realized how nasty chicken skin looks close up.
  14. Where can I get business cards printed.

+1 for 4over, just make sure you follow directions, only had one issue in over 5 years and they fixed it on their dime quickly! Quality, pricing and turn are fantastic.
  15. Question looking for quotes, invoice, payment program

    Quickbooks or Freshbooks.
  16. Opinion 3D Graffiti Design

What you did here is very cool & unique. I could see a market for it with wall murals, large format canvas, banner or poster prints and other stuff like that. Heck even taking parts of them and putting it on shirts, house good etc. How about selling the actual digital files? I've started doing...
  17. Need Help Am I crazy, or can this not be printed as is?

Your only options would likely be printing on a Gerber Edge if there are any of those around yet or another form of spot color printing you could specify those “neon” colors. Might be something Stouse can do if you want to check with them if it’s a decent quantity to make up for the Or if you...
  18. How to accomplish?

This is exactly what I was going to suggest, seems most reasonable. Please share your method & results when it’s done though, would like to see it!
  19. Contour cutting black reflective?

Have also put something over the crop marks in the past like masking tape and drew them on with a sharpie & straight edge. Kind of a long, painful process but it works in a pinch on a smaller job.
  20. Are sign professionals just giving up?

Thankfully, I knew this would head this way as soon as someone mentioned doing "HIS WORK" Not sure how it even relates or why it was brought into the conversation!
