Well, I'm not in the clear yet. Santiago at signwarehouse walked me through a troubleshoot which fixed the all black printing.. No idea what caused it though. Maybe an empty cartridge that didn't register with the printer and caused a vacuum effect on the ink in the lines?? So after we got...

i looked in the menu for that.. is it under "set up" mutoh valuejet 1204

the cartridges are all in the correct slots. they were untouched in the first place, which makes it all the more wierd. I just did a headwash and put the cartridges back in. Now i'm getting a "[kcmy]discharged" error. grrr. frustrating

I just performed a head wash and when I put my cartridges back in, this is the error I got "[CKMY]DISCHARGED". Any ideas???

I just moved the printhead to the center to check out the ink lines. All but 2 of the lines have black running through them!

where are the lights? I only have "height of head", "effect", and "cleaning mode" none of which have 3 lights, only 2.
