  1. People are getting edgy lately...

I spent a moment trying to figure out if you are for real or were being sarcastic. I think you might actually believe the doomsday stuff. As an imperfect Christian myself , I don't think you are changing hearts or minds with the doomsday predictions. A waste of time trying to figure out when...
  2. Scam-Harlan Hales is back

Probably an abandoned number. If he's still there, the guy that used to have that number is going to have to deal with Boudica.
  3. People are getting edgy lately...

Free for our customers... (we also have one that says 'Mask Up' to cover all the bases.) practicing sucking up to everyone in case I want to run for office and Make America Great Again Again
  4. People are getting edgy lately...

Relax - I was trying to lighten the mood. The US stereotype of Canadians is they are polite to a fault. So criticism from seems out of character and seeing more of that from up north.
  5. People are getting edgy lately...

You just got the Canadian version of being 'schooled'. What's the world coming to when even the Canucks are getting rude and opinionated?
  6. People are getting edgy lately...

    Stick and stones...
  7. People are getting edgy lately...

So Johnny, if I was sensitive , I might ask 'what color was the woman that yelled 'fu** you' to the old man and what difference does the skin color of the postal clerk make? If I was a sensitive white neckbeard in Portland, I might then burn your car to demonstrate against your...
  8. People are getting edgy lately...

Yes, if only. I've always embraced technology but would happily revert to the old days of personal interaction. Despite the advances in lifestyle, communication, efficiency from the web; to me it's not a net gain. Getting old and wistful for the eighties.
  9. Rant Hating UPS this morning

Not to make excuses for UPS, but I imagine the pandemic has greatly strained their capacity with the increase in web ordering. Also it seems to be random regionally or locally. Can't think of a single instance that we have had inbound ship delays from our suppliers (mostly in Midwest cities)...
  10. Safety Speed Dustless Cutter will not cut ACM straight

Same problem with our Keencut - the clamps Firesprint mentions are the way to go.
  11. What's your recipe for Application Fluid?

Wondering who sells those 1 quart condoms...
  12. People are getting edgy lately...

For the thin-skinned maybe. But actual deeds like 'mostly peaceful' protests, point blank murders, looting, riots, illegal court orders and legal harassment from the entrenched bureaucracy, censoring news and dissenting opinions, forcing businesses to close or operate at a loss, locking down low...
  13. Is your lunch climate change friendly??

Your second point is valid. Hey, if they practice environmentalism as a religion, that's fine with me as long as they don't force their religion on me. Glad to take their money if they want to buy a vinyl substitute made of flaxseed or some such thing. The first point is far from proven...
  14. Is your lunch climate change friendly??

Ah, another useless case of virtue signalling.
  15. Wall Wrap Material Recommendation

A little off topic, but an alternative we've been using for concrete block is WalkNWall Goes up super quick, it's durable, and sticks to about anything. The fabric back allows the material to span the grout joints 9or you can partially work them into the joint without heat and hides all he...
  16. Just In Some Friday fun......................................

My spouse already thinks I'm an overgrown child. Need something more sophisticated to get her worried. Kinda like what happens when suddenly they drop 20 pounds and start checking their text every 20 minutes.
  17. Vehicle Wrap Failure on Sharp Curves

Glad this forum doesn't use Japanese as the default language; hard enough to understand the nuances of the various English dialects.
  18. First time acrylic letter install

Stacy, you sound like that 'perfect' student in high school who was always super-organized, got straight A's, and usually won 'smartest person' or some such award. I'll bet you are unfailingly optimistic as well. Aimless slugs like me who graduated in the middle third of the class were...
  19. First time acrylic letter install

I would be tempted to sell them on the idea of mounting dimensional letters on a substrate. Much easier, fewer holes to mount a panel of ACM (perhaps rounded corners) to the siding and flush mount dimensional letters to the ACM. Would look far better IMHO.
