Oh so dead. Hope to make it till spring '10. Today was the worst, even worse than when the phone doesn't ring. A constant supply of price shoppers. There must have beed 5 calls or walk ins and everyone of them asked that is my best price. I am starting to get an attitude about it also. I can...

  4. Plotter Cutting Small Letters Question

I have a Summa D60U Plotter. Is there any way to get it to do a better job of cutting small letters? It seems to not cut completely and leave just enough to be difficult when weeding small stuff. Larger graphics can handle it and break away pretty well. I have changed the blade but it still does...

Could it be a 600 dpi printer or Pigment ink. I know it could be the substrate but I have tried it on photo paper and vinyl and get the same result
  18. I Still Get Grainy Screens, Any Ideas

I'm sorry, I guess it could be described as ratty, or mottled. Picture a 50% screen and if it prints properly it looks smooth and you can,t tell if it is a solid spot color, well I don't get it to look like that. My screens look hairy, you definetly know its a screen. I am at home right now so...
  19. I Still Get Grainy Screens, Any Ideas

I posted this earlier and had to break away, but after messing around with settings and tweaking profiles I still can not print a smooth screen. I am thinking either the printer is not capable or I am not. Stats: Printer HP 3500 CP, Rip Wasatch 5.1, Image 4 color but does not matter cause even...
  20. Need to PRint a Good Screen

I really do not know but I just think this printer should do better, I am not sure. The file I am playing with was sent to me but it is typical of the results I get.
