  4. How does one survive raising a teenage daughter?

POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT!!! Always praise for the good behaviour! It is hard to ignore bad behaviour but you should ignore most insults, bad behaviour, comments(stuff the ex is feeding her). You have to know where it is coming from! Do not feed into the arguements. No response means no attention...
  5. l25500 greasy prints

Could it be the vinyl? Bad batch? or is it on happening on different substrates? Yes I did read you are printing huge job, but was it there before you loaded that substatrate or changed rolls.
  6. How to wrap goalie mask?

Hydrographics are really cool. Are you limited to the providers design, or can you design something yourself to be printed? I research it a bit after being done on American Chopper but everything seemed to be the manufactures designs including the design that went on their bike they built.
  7. A better profile?

Colin This may be an informative read. I too am trying to get my head around this color management monster, lol. Profiles out of the box(suppliers) seem to work until something changes, like a new head ect. I am hoping to figure it out. http://www.normankoren.com/color_management.html
  8. A better profile?

I only posted that the color munki was for monitor calibration because I called x-rite and they told me it would not create profiles for my roland sc500 and that it was meant for the monitor. She did recommend some other color meters that were way out of my league in price, so yes eye4clr is...
  9. Need snowmobile template

Take a pic of the sled if available. We use a 24"x16" square in the pic to scale it. Put image in photoshop, add rectangle over square. You may have to rotate a bit to line up. Sclae image till the rectangle is 24"x16". There a full size template of the sled. Only works if you have the sled...
  10. A better profile?

Color monki only calibrates your screen and does not create profiles for your printer. Yes it is a good start in color management, but I would suggest the huey pro from x-rite for monitor calibration. It does the same thing as color munki but also measures the light in your room to determin the...

  14. yellow miss firing

No ebay for now lol. It has really been a great printer, and makes life easy, especially for partial wraps. Should be good for awhile after I replace the head, since I replaced everything but the head lol. I just could not figure that darn yellow problem out. Yes I am going to clean out those...
  15. yellow miss firing

Tablehockey Yes you are right! There is no ink in those lines anymore either!
  16. yellow miss firing

Well put in another head, couple medium cleans, test print. I have nothing firing on lc. But this does not surprise me because this head was from the other side and was replaced because black was really bad. I am 50% through a 10'x4' banner right now, and no loss of yellow. So you were right...
  17. yellow miss firing

I did the whole 6 colors, and it was fine, no drop out. Yes that test print was before I glued the damper. The last dx2 head I bought for $200 but it did not have a rank number. The are ussually going for $250 and up. I am putting another head in right now to see if the lines fill.
  18. yellow miss firing

Tablehockey When we talked on the phone you mentioned you had a source for economical heads. I swapped the lm and y and did a bar test print 52" wide printed it fine. Mabey it just did not have enough time to have the air leak in to it? I think you are right, that there is a crack internally...
  19. yellow miss firing

Fatboy It is a dx2 printhead. I don't think there is a removeable manifold.
  20. yellow miss firing

Hi Table Hockey I have glued the nipple area at the bottom, and it still starves. The ink is going into the bottom lines at the same time and fills them to about 3/4, then drains them. Yes I crossed the lines and it was fine. Also when I remove the damper no ink travells back towards the...
