Oh, hey, I never thought of that. We will save a ton of money by not having to order cast vinyl anymore. Who needs anything that will last 8-10 years when no one will be alive in 8-10 years to see it fail. Calendared will do for most people's whole life!
Although, once the ozone layer is...
Whenever a new DBA is filed, a classified ad used to be taken out as a way to publicly notify the world that this new business exists and what it does. These are brand new businesses, and they might not have explored all of their signage options yet. Getting in touch with these people early on...
On a totally unrelated note, silver spot price is right around $30 per oz. 4 years ago today it was about $17 per oz.
...if spot means anything to you.
Definitely no Vaseline. My gut tells me that once you get Vaseline in print nozzles you will never, ever get it out.
Victor had the answer I'd give. Set your automatic cleanings up and let them do what they do.
If you're talking about mothballing the printer for a few months or more, then...
I have problems getting good registration with some of my reflective films. I just cut out little white vinyl squares and strips and put them down on the inside of the angle and the outside. That way, the line itself doesn't move at all.
I might have your solution.
Okay, so remember that your printer and the computer you sent the file from are two different entities. If you're like me, then you send the file to a RIP software, and then release the ripped file to the printer. I'm guessing that every now and then you realize...
Oh, my handwriting is a lost cause. Although, you've hit on something that would be marketable. I bet there will be a brisk trade for people who can write well.
This whole coronal mass ejection stuff caught me by surprise. The aurora borealis was apparently visible from my back yard this past weekend and I didn't go out and see it. By the time I started getting this information, they were already talking about how something like this could wipe out...
What are you trying to say?
Preparation is not dumb. Being conscious of dangers and preparing for problems is a smart thing to do. We have fire extinguishers and spare tires and life jackets, and generators and secondary parachutes and safety glasses because a little bit of preparedness can...
I don't think you're totally wrong here.
I did start this thread after my daily "reading the tea leaves", and hearing about the possibility that we might be about to start WW3. I was kind of down over that (because I prefer peace to war), and I thought I might write something humorous to vent...
I see this more as a "handle your own business" kind of thing. If someone gambles away all of their money, or spends it on drugs, or just lives beyond their means, is anyone else responsible for paying their rent for them? What if someone can't be bothered to get a job, but they need to eat -...
People go to the store and will actually complain if the flavor of chips they like is not stocked on the shelves. I've seen full on meltdowns occur by grown adults who found out that something they wanted to buy isn't available. Remember the fights that broke out over toilet paper not long...
Well, I'm not a communist. I don't think that other people have a claim over the things I own. If I buy a can of beans today, it doesn't belong to everyone tomorrow.
In the same way, I don't lay claim to the things other people have. I wouldn't go help myself to other people's things - even...
Others have said it, but Steel Composite Material (SCM) will be a good option. It is heavier and cutting it takes some patience, but it'll do what you need it to do. Print what you need onto vinyl, laminate and apply just like you would onto ACM.
It looks like they have some kind of platform bolted to the top of that van. I wouldn't categorize that as safe, but at least they put some effort into getting a flat surface to work on.
I'd give it a 4/10.
But, if you gave up your stockpile to keep them alive, doesn't that just mean you'll be starving alongside them once they eat through your supplies?
In a situation like that, you have got to prioritize yourself and your family. Sure, banding together is good, but it has got to be a mutually...
