We have a client looking for window perf. for interior installation on her second floor windows. Ever heard of or have a referral for a second surface window perf?
When I used to make hand painted signs I used Kilz primer, Pittsburgh for the background color and 1 shot for the lettering. This was before 1 shot changed formulas. Pittsburgh is a quality product for background colors. I still have some signs from over 20 years ago holding up using these paints.
I've used both CorelDraw & Illustrator for many years now. It seems like as soon as I get a new job it switches from one to the other. I have noticed that some information can be lost going from an Illustrator .eps to Corel. It does not happen often, but it does happen. We ask for .pdf files...
Definitely manually adjust the kerning. It is way more aesthetically pleasing with visually equidistant spacing. With the "character's type body" as bob calls it, it looks ununiform and gapped out. Nice font choice by the way, what is the name of it?
You may be able to get away with using the free trial on this project while testing the product for possible purchase at the same time.

I think what jsmoritz did is awesome. I don't mind the tight kerning either. It's very legible and many well known logos use tight kerning, it adds character. I do think the little black spots can be deleted though. The arrow is still visible if it's pointed out which in my opinion makes it...
