Yep, i do it all the time. Only issue is that when i first got the summa, the blade kept dragging across the media and scratching it. I was told to build an in feed and out feed table to keep the material from buckling up under the head. My workaround is to take cleaning swab to the side of...
either way, printing fluorescent on race car wraps would be a huge time saver with not having to cut, weed, tape, and overlay. 6 months is acceptable in that market.
doing a bit more research it looks like a person could buy fluorescent bulk inks from china. I am sure it would be possible then to fill your own cartridges for your printer BUT i would imagine it would take some software work and firmware work to make the printer print from the right channel...
That looks like the carriage on a Mutoh 1628X, which they use and have posted about....wonder if Mutoh has something in the works with fluorescent inks, especially after seeing the prismjet printer from SW...
They actually have sales reps huh? I have been trying to locate mine for about 3 years and all I ever hear is, "I will have your local rep get in touch with you". I have yet to place an order with them because their pricing is so much higher than anywhere else, which is why I would like to...
Talk to BigFish, he may be able to get the textured laminate for you. I know the Optima Vinyl and Laminate I was using was RitRama material so if that textured stuff was too, Josh might be able to help you out, or at least maybe steer you in the right direction.

Not percent. ML..had so many things going at one time this morning I mis typed it. Either way, the cartridge was empty when the printer showed that it still had ink
Yeah, It helped just a little, not near enough. Just talked to HP, they are going to replace one head out of the 2 because only one of them still shows that it is still in warranty even tho all heads came with the printer and were installed at the same time. I guess one is better than none...
I have never had an issue up until this time. Usually I let it run until it forces me to replace the cartridge and have never seen any banding or defects in the print by doing this so maybe I was just getting lucky?
Was in the middle of printing some banners and everything was going great, like it always does. I get a message on my HP app saying that my magenta cartridge is low, nothing unusual there. Next thing I know the printer has stopped printing magenta and has horrible banding. I look at the...
