    For anyone that doesn't know what the "roll lock kit" is that PMG referred to here is a pic. This piece of metal keeps the shaft from popping out. Works for me.

    I use one computer for designing and ripping with no problems. If you're printing and designing lots of huge files everyday I think having a separate RIP computer could improve workflow but its never been necessary for me.

    Cool. Glad it worked for you. I don't know why hitting "get media width" causes the cutting problem but it was definitely the only thing that I found to cause cutting alignment to be off. I almost always center the print on the media because I use 50" wide laminate on my 54" media. Centering...

    Why does anyone use Flexi with a VersaCAMM? Roland gives you a good RIP that is free and you can buy all three "real" graphics programs like CorelDraw, Illustrator and Photoshop for much less money than Flexi. What does Flexi allow you to do for the extra few thousand dollars?

    Star...if you are using VersaWorks do not click "get media width" before cutting the job. I use Versaworks and almost always center my print on the media. I don't know if GXSignCo's experiences cutting problems when centering is enabled because he is using Wasatch SoftRip but its no problem...
