I would say Cannon and Epson, both are excellent printers but are not designed for outdoor use. So then you have to laminate or find someone to laminate for you.
OR....you can spend a bit but money, buy you a 30 inch versacam that prints mild solvent and be good for both outdoor and indoor...
We have loaded files that were 600 to 800MB without any issues other than taking a little time to load. Empty all your file that you don't need from VW. Shut the computer down and restart. That will refresh all memory. Also VW prefers the EPS file format. That is what we were told by Roland...
if a local high school happens to have a computer/ designer class you can donate the software and write it off your taxes. May not be much but every little bit helps.
back roll your material so there is no tension while feeding. especially do this on full or heavy rolls. And don't forget, you can always raise the print head depending on the thickness of material.
Prices on supplies go up every other day. The tariff on aluminum goes up then what other choice do you have. You just have to go up as well. We have all been doing it for years.
