    OK... back to original topic.... in my local area we have this shop that adverts on Craiglist, quick stuff, cheap....Shop name "Poor 'ole Rob" or something like that...local tire kickers use his "quick quotes" to "try" enhance competitive prices and get a cheaper job connection... Fayt, ya...

    I use something similar also... I also use a "sketch template" to help quote the job...I have a few versions and suit the copyright statement to the type of customer.... Hope y'all can read the small print on this picture, i couldn't seem to upload a .cdr or .ai file....

    are you wanting to calibrate your actual X-Y output scale, or your sensors for reading registration marks...? Also you have not said at all what software you are using, or exactly what problems with scale that you are having....and it really depends on software type... if using Graphtec...

    I would also create a "test plot" software file made up of various sized squares and circles....plot, weed and hand measure the results in mm's, decimals measure and less to double check, looksee the machine output calibration.... I LUV my Graphtec CE, it is very accurate...

    I would go with a small bench mount drill press like bayshore and Pat mentioned above...you can bolt it to a 18" square of 3/4" plywood and easily take it to the offsite job in the back of your pickup....Way more accuracy and power than the clamp the drill rigs.... ...

    That is correct Rodi..... I would expect the ebay auction would be a used machine since the CE 5000 replacement for the CE3000 has been out for a couple years....
