It seems like a pretty easy up-sell to Alumalite if you nicely point out to the client that the plywood signs they had previously failed after a couple years. Let them know that you can make the sign however they want to, but unless they are looking forward to going down the same road in another...
I think "cafe" is actually Papyrus. It appears to be stretched a bit & then an offset added. Then the horizontal center strokes were modified on the F & E.
You can "convert outline to object" with the shortcut key Ctrl + Shft + Q. Or I believe you can find it under the "Arrange" drop down menu in the top menu bar.
If you go near the bottom of that web page and click on "geometry", you can download a Microsoft Excel file that has the logo. It is a little bit better resolution than the others on the site.
I was wondering the same thing. It looks simple enough to recreate without too much effort. Of course if you need new copy then it might be a little harder.
