  3. New wrap for shop truck

Love the business name, it is similar to ours... Here is one of our shop trucks, reflective vinyl. Logo was designed by Jill, she's great. I would agree, your layout looks kind of like a tile company until you read the fine print. We do wraps, but I feel that our simple truck layout is...

  5. Need Help Quick Please

I'm pretty sure that is what's going on. Can you see the little patches right below the flash in the picture? Those are where the lam peeled up. This is a brand new vehicle, I have spoke with the sheriff about the problem and he says the car came with the door and roof wrapped right from...
  6. Need Help Quick Please

Anybody? Very tempted to tape the problem areas off, wet sand, and try to blend in with some spray liquid lam. If that doesn't work I might have to re wrap the doors and then re letter them. Or maybe try a patch first but I know that will look like chit. Would just like to hear some advice...
  7. Need Help Quick Please

Have a sheriff car in getting lettered. The car is black, doors have been wrapped white, not by us I assumed from the factory. After removing registration marks (layered vinyl job) off the wrapped doors, it appears that the door wrap had a liquid laminate on it. The reg. marks pulled some of...
  8. Wrap below water line on boat?

How well does a vinyl wrap hold up on the side of a boat where half of it would be submerged under water most of the time and the edges of the wrap will constantly crash through the water? Will a high tack vinyl hold up much better?
  9. Vinyl on cor ten steel?

Has anybody applied vinyl graphics to cor ten steel. Cor ten steel is designed to form a layer of rust which acts as a protective coating for the steel. Just wondering if this affects vinyl lettering at all? Will the rust bleed down over the lettering or cause it to fall off?

  12. 80'x10' Banner

Customer wants an 80'x10' banner to install on the side of a 100'x18' building wall which faces a freeway. It's an advertisement for a new industrial park and they will install the banner themselves, the wall is corrugated steel siding. They want a banner and not aluminum panels because they...

  18. What material for pre-spaced removable wall graphics?

Guess I'll do a test piece with phototex and low tack tape. Thanks for the info guys.
  19. What material for pre-spaced removable wall graphics?

Yes these will be contour cut. I have used phototex in the past with success, but not with contour cut graphics. Can it be used for that? In the fellers catalog oracal 3268 says great for contour cutting.
  20. What material for pre-spaced removable wall graphics?

I'm trying to figure out what the best material would be to use for pre-spaced removable wall graphics. Specifically I need to print and cut text (4'x2') to go up on a wall for 2 months. Wall is painted sheet rock with eggshell finish, so has a bit of a texture to it. I'm looking into oracal...
