mmm ... nope ... the point is for it to stand out, not blend in, and with the proper anchoring, "kiting" should not be a problem. If i wanted to blend in, i would have taken the free 18x24

No doubt ... im hoping its an easy wind day ... but i will definitely make sure to anchor it well.

It's a 3 sided sign ... each panel is reinforced and weighted with wood strips on the back ... being a triangle, it stands on its own, but when its on site, we will use metal dowels (about the same thickness as H frames) to anchor it into the ground. Should Work.

Hey ... it's my hole ... car dealerships sponsor holes and bring cars and huge signs ... Nobody said a company couldn't provide their own sign. I would also imagine other politicians will use their campaign signs rather than those provided. Appreciate the kinds words everyone !

Let em think it ... that is what happened. We were not contracted to make other signs for the tournament. The pack and ship store donated them ... this is a political golf tournament.

$100 will not get you a APC UPS's anywhere near the size needed to power that if there is a power failure . You need a 1000w+ which will run around $600 or more.

i don't "think" the roland will let you do this ... every time i have a misplaced roller it yells at me.

Clean the rollers every time i put them back in, and use as many as i can depending on media width.

I am having a problem with certain materials showing pinch roller lines. Everywhere there are pinch rollers, the color comes out slightly darker ... any ideas on how to fix and avoid this ? See image.

you will not be wasting the graphtec, i have a versacamm and a graphtec, they serve 2 separate purposes for me, i would never use a roland print cut machine for solid color vinyl, too expensive of a machine to put all that wear and tear .... thats just me. We use the graptec for solid colors...

Much Like Bigdawg, we soaked a piece in water for 72 hours before we decided to give it a whirl in the real world. Ironically, i just went back to a sign i did about 8 months ago with scooter board and took some pictures to see how it held up. This was for a medium term construction site...

What thickness ? I guess on top of making sleds, i need to build an entry and exit table.
