I would reprint these on decent vinyl. That vinyl is short term vinyl so they aren't going to last on his tractors regardless of the laminate you used. Get some IJ35 or IJ40 and use 8515 or Arlon laminate.
I don't like the baby blue and I don't like the FAMILY MEDICINE in chrome. Switch the blue to white and the FAMILY MEDICINE to black. IDK, maybe that is too simple but the chrome across is enough flash for me.
I use SignTracker. You can check out their site and I think there's a free trial. Each employee can be loaded in and assigned daily tasks. There is a super easy work flow board, calendars, etc.
Here's what I did at my last job. Find the quietest, dorkiest IT guy you have and make friends with him. After a while he will load any program on your computer and get you whatever you need. Not to mention, you will make a new friend you never expected to make and he will be interesting and fun...
That's a great idea with the blinds! I second that. I've used them for plant stakes in the past with a sharpie. They are very durable. Sharpie comes off obviously. You could also check at Walmart but I can confirm they are not as sturdy as HD.
Rant: I've received my annual FB message from my cousin looking for "2 can coozies", "2 beach towels with blue and white stripes with a full color boating logo with The Grateful Dead logo and his boat name" and some other crap she wants printed for Christmas. I just told her to check online. I...
OP - don't let us discourage you, we just don't know as much information as you do. Feel free to post more info or the specifics about equipment etc. Many on here would be happy to help you via PM about specifics.
Gnubler and myself are one-lady shops so we might not be as much help as others...
Sounds like a great opportunity if the price is right!
I'm curious what he does in-house and what he outsources. Some of the guys on here outsource all their printed goods but do all the installations. Some outsource installations but do the prep work. Is he more of a one-man operation or does...
Where do they relocate them to? For that kind of money I would demand a live feed so I could watch "my" tortoises forever LOL I do see the point though since they are endangered. And if you don't have steep fines and steep relocation fees then people will just build wherever they want and kill...
If the font doesn't have the kind you need/like then use another font for just the quotes. I often use a non-serif font for them vs. those big curvy ones - depending on the font.
All fonts have different quote marks. Some are curly some are straight. On the font Chicago the quote marks only go one way so I have to create outlines and reverse the right side.
That's exactly what I think, "how much longer can I do this". I too am perfectly able to do the work but will I in 5 years from now? If I'm sore now, how will I feel in 5 years?
Apparently, if you were born in the 70's and your legs were bowed out because you were a large baby they put full leg...
