OK made two more attempts with a great deal of pressure applying TDD tape, first one got a small wrinkle at starting edge removing backing,just enough to throw it away, second one worked perfect, guess I just need to get a feel for it. I thank everyone for your input

I started at 35 (new blade) and saw some slight scoring, at 30 now, maybe thats why it weeds so nice,I'll back it off some more. the wrinkles seen on front side (pictured) are after backing remove do you think I should run it through laminator after tape ? lol

the video shows print,weed,mask, peel and press,unless I mist somthing there is no extended dry time, could it be the ink? I saw a post here someone had same problem but having trouble locating it.

thank you for responding, sorry for delayed responce,out of town. once the TDD tape is on, removing the backing paper is when the problem start as pictured. print wants to lift from tape, this is approx 14"x 3". now i did about 6- 4" pocket prints with no issues. I did let one 14'' dry over...

I got some siser color print PU gloss,printing with SP300V pressing with HIX N 800,So far it prints cuts and weeds excellent,no problem there,the problem is when I apply the TDD easy mask,flip it over and when removing the backing / carrier the print just wrinkles up and becomes useless, tried...

your going to need a laminator soon.

I have had problems in the pass he is a good guy just puts you on ignore sometimes, he has a few things on eBay right now, try contacting that way, I know it sounds crazy but you gotta use him.

ok i found some post on this also inspected mine and its nasty old, probably original. so were is the quickest place to get one i am going to replace it and go from there

printer was having trouble finding vinyl length would hesitate as it went across and show length as 0.0 , replaced encoder strip and it worked fine after testing 3 or 4 times. the next day it would not find vinyl length but no hesitation going across. now i have found the the problem only...

Ok, got a little impatient went ahead and and replaced it on my own,not a big deal 20 min first time. these things are like Harley Davidson's gotta work on them all the time

thanks but i already did the cleaning deal,have new one in hand want to replace it besides they are cheap and mine is seven years old.

Need to replace encoder strip, New one arrived today looks a little tricky right behind print heads. If anyone has replaced one I could use some tips or advice.SP300V. thanks in advance,

Ill check that later today and report,thanks feel like there's hope, it does seem like it skips or hesitates for a split second around the same spot while its going across .

thank you the beer was calming,and you fixed the door, I ordered a new strip, the only problem is now is it takes anywhere from 5 to 10 times to read vinyl length, once it's picked up everything is fine, print cut ect.. will see what happens in a few days when strip gets here, any tips on...

I cleaned my encoder strip and still cant get machine to find vinyl length after several attempts,now all of a sudden printer is telling me to close door so ink wont dry the door is closed,opened and closed several times still printer doesn't know door is closed I could really use some input...
