I think Fellers sent the poor guy the wrong lam. He brought by a sample, and it's not optically clear at all...has an almost mottled look to it. Either it's the wrong lam, or perhaps some really old lam.
I have never encountered this before. We are doing an install for another shop and we noticed the laminate is separating from the vinyl. If you try and pull them apart, you can de-laminate the whole thing with barely any effort.
Allegedly they used Avery vinyl and laminate...this is happening...
Most paint stores, such as Glidden have their exterior paints formulated as an acrylic latex. We spray it through the HVLP all the time.
Oh and as Gino stated, especially here, the "weed whip" as they call it is important. The landscapers here love chopping down posts with their tools of the...
We can't used cedar or redwood here because of the termites. We continually replace old posts with pressure treated because they are now empty husks, having been devoured over the last 7-8 years. Thankfully T-mites don't like the taste of pressure treated wood.
My advice would be acrylic latex paint, not oil. Oil based paint have a high probability of growing mold or fungus in damp areas. They also get chalky over time. Acrylic paint will expand and contract with the wood. Oil based paint will harden to a shell and start to crack with that...

Have a job coming up and we need to mount half inch MDO signs that are about 12x18" to chain link fence.
Any specialty hardware that we can use to mount these?
Any help would be great, thanks.:)
Threw this together as a gift for a friend of a friend's garage.
Just some simple cut vinyl on a pan face aluminum backer. Designed from scratch, cut and fabricated (including the pan face) in about and hour and a half during some free time today.
Seriously,
Unless you know facts about copyright/Trademark, please do not spread misinformation like this.
I worked alongside lawyers that specialized in the area for a number of years. I know way more than any non-lawyer should on the matter, and even successfully won a court case in which...
If it was loading at startup, it needs to be in the font folder. unless you were using font management software than allows you to pull it from another location.
Try a file search for the font in question on the old system.
The new system here is Win 7 and my now ancient Adobe Type Manager is outdated and runs buggy, even in compatibility mode.
I see there are a lot of font management programs out there, so what are you using?
My needs are simple, just need to turn fonts on or off at will, search and preview...
I'll be supremely blunt. If you're not a designer, then don't try to do design work.
Those of us that are good at what we do have spent years learning and honing our craft and spent even more time accumulating practical experience.
Now understand where this statement comes from and WHY...
