    Hmm..maybe, but its very little heat needed to fix this, so in that case if it does shatter its a very tender glass i think... I`ve used this technique for 7 years now and never had any trouble. Maybe a glass that brake after so low surface heat should be replaced anyway? :)

    Just want to share a tip on how to fix an broken sand-blasted foil. As the pictures show, you only need an ligther and heat gently on the area you need to fix. And as you can see on the image, the broken foil is now fixed:) Ps. sorry for my bad english.
