I say you just design around it make him happy and move on its just a logo its not worth your time or money to figure out why he chose that certain logo, and talking bad about it to him will just insult him....just make it look the best you can and get paid...let him see what you can do ..you...
sounds like mutoh's ink claimed another victim...good luck with that one...dont go buying a bunch of parts before you research the whole mutoh ink switcharoo. I had two printers doing the same thing and everyone said it was air in the lines dampers maint. stations...and I started using different...
I have had the same problems....I had a supplier tell me they havent changed the valuejet inks (YET) so we have just been changing out the chip on the side and putting the chrome sticker on there....I was also told the mesh wa a new design...you

very similar story to mine....we just started buying the valuejet inks and am running on CMYK only what a headache this has been....I say we all take our mutohs to the next sign show set up a booth beside mutoh and show everyone just how great mutoh is....I have a whole stock pile of wasted...
well lets see....mutoh has different inks for different printers....the only inks they have changed are the falcon inks....and mutoh admitted to that fact..thats why they redesigned the messed up cartridges..but those still dont work...so im using the valuejet inks and changing out the chip on...
Stealth....you just dont get it...I bought my falcon new 3 years ago....its not that the parts are hard to get its that mutoh decided to experiment with the ink and its screwing everyone up and costing ua tons of money...my machine worked fine until we got new inks ....and the problem is mutoh...

yeah we have the new (corrected inks) and they are no different exept a little longer and they have placed a silver sticker over the rubber seal on the outside...when the rubber seal is what I think is causing the problems
look at the cartridges and any feedback is welcomed....it shows all three...
well you would think mutoh would stand behind the product they sell...instead of all the falcon users having to just "make do" and find our own solutions to fix their problems
Yeah I have those new inks and they dont work either...all they did was put a silver tab over the same rubber seal on the front of the cartridge..and I think they made the cartridges the same size as the original ones...but Im still having issues with those also
right now we are using the valuejet inks...they are still the original cartridges and ink. you just have to remove the plastic chip and put the chrome sticker on the side...we have used them for a whole day and no problems yet...Im having to run my machine using only CMYK since the valuejets use...
