I had a LEDCO econocraft I bought on EBAY, great price, wound up being the best, most durable laminator I ever used. I have a GBC 62" not that works pretty good but not as good as the econocraft. It was perfect.

I do not think profiles are an issue. I use Arlon 6000 and the calendered wrap vinyl profile which looks great. I would have to believe the calibration would be the issue. What system would I need to calibrate it?

I upgraded to CS 4 recently. I will say at first I hated it. It worked a bit diffeerent but as I learn how to use it I actually prefer it now. I love how you can now choose a layer by clicking on it just like Flexi does. That was a big improvement and time saver.
I highly recommend the pro designer series from Aurora Graphics. They have very good tutorials for photoshop. If you become proficient with photoshop you could litterally design everything. Plan on spending many many hours trying to learn it but once you do, you will not believe what youll be...
The material is tgoo thin without laminate to install. It's a nightmare to install without it. The material gets very thin after you put ink to it. You will definitely find that the extra cost of the laminate will more than make up for the cost during install. It will actually save you money...
