I have a job for 30 3x6 banners with hem and grommets. My question is can I print on a 38" roll and between the registration marks, margin of the printer and the hem I'm left with less then 35"? I know signs365 can take off .25" on all sides which is less then this. What is industry standard?
I sometimes have images in full color that the customer wants in b&w. What's the correct way to do this? I don't see an option in onyx to print grayscale. What I do now is hit print from the document and choose onyx as the printer then choose grayscale, but then I have to create the paper size...
It looks like I'm going with the Epson R5070. My dealer says it runs about .22 sqft. Can anyone confirm? I just ran some numbers on my mimaki UJV100-160 does it make sense I was running at .39 sqf?
A customer is looking to print on PET plastic, looks like for a donut box. Is there a material out there that would fit the description? Flatbed up to 4x8
Thanks
I'll wait a month till Atlanta and check my options. I'm just trying to understand the flatbed laminator why would a company spend so much if it's used for not so much laminating?
Thanks
I'm looking to get a laminator for both 4x8 substrate and vinyl/magnet rolls. What's my best option and how does sign365 laminate the aluminum. I sent in some aluminum to get laminated and was not the same?
I have the colex and use the 530 4mm bit. What about the paint is that normal that it stays on the edge and needs to be wiped off? Like stuck on but comes off by pinching a rag along the edge
I print and cut a lot of .04 aluminum. My worker sands down all the edges he says he's scared it's sharp and people may cut themselves. Is this necessary? It's extremely time consuming cutting and sanding 200 pieces. All advise appreciated.
Thanks
