Only air came out.
I worded that badly. I blame it on not beeing used to think and write in english.
They bubbles won't come out with a good result because it has expanded to the point that there's to much vinyl to press it back whitout wrinkling.
So instead of me trying to pop and heat...
I've seen the effects of outgassing before, but never like this.
But it could very well be the answer.
I took for granted that they bought it new, but i'll ask the customer about it, and if they know of any repairs or repainting.
It looks like that on all sides.
I tried with a couple of them, but with the bigger ones theres was no way to get them to lay down flat.
The vinyl is too stretched out and doesn't go back.
Maybe with a heatgun, but there are just too many of them to be time efficient.
I forgot to mention that it's all made in cut vinyl. The black aswell.
It's the wet paint theory i'm most afraid of.
That would making removal of the old vinyl to a nightmare.
The backstory is:
A client had a box truck done somewhere else.
Everything was fine for two weeks, then bubbles started to appear.
And meantime that company has gone bust...
Now they want me to redo it, so i went there and looked at it.
And i have never seen anything like it!
And i have done a...
Just curious about what others do. :)
I used to work in Stockholm, capitol of Sweden.
We used to help/get help with printing, cutting and such from other

My printer...
We bought the system used, and that was how it was setup.
The three Summa systems i have worked with before all worked perfectly,
so i never really looked at the numbers
I have had companies tell me to dress a certain way for installing their signs.
I tell them my sizes and ask them to provide appropriate clothes.
Either i never hear from them again, or they tell me "oh, it's not that important. Do it in your regular clothes"
Cool!
I-cut is a great invention :notworthy:
Summa Cutter Control says "0,45 mm"
This is my third workplace with this exact setup, and i never had this problem.
That's why i never thought of checking it before.
(And cutting works like it should with Summa Winplot)
My support guy has promised...
So i just got this strange effect:
When i cut on my Summa S2 T 140 through Summa Winplot everything is just perfect.
But when i use Summa Cutter Control for i-cutting it "overcuts"? (not sure what to call it)
These letters are 7 mm high (0.27 inches)
I have no clue as to where to start looking...
