Use white plex or lexan if you're applying vinyl, if using clear cut graphics in reverse, apply and backspray with gripflex or something......printing this job would be ridiculous.
Plex will be fine for a 4x8, but that can don't look deep enough for a flat face. A panface will diffuse light...
As long as it is working good who cares, but there is a reasonable time frame to keep up to date. I would think that would be when you are forced to make a platform change in windows and keeping your current software out of conflict.
SignTool has its pros and cons but a great add on for the money.
When working with your graphics it's easier to pull it to size then type in the values.
Buy VinylMaster Pro, it has a rip and is cheap. I have Corel and Flexi and ordered a demo Vinyl master and it will do anything you want, it's a powerful program for 500 bucks.
Take a look at it at the bottom of the screen.
A local guy has it and swears by it, he has a mutah and says the profiles work great with it. I had an old verion 3 or 4 and I didn't like it too much but the new version looks pretty sweet.
