Got a job to do a wall mural but my customer wants to use the newspaper clippings/press release that came out in the 50's. Done searches on google with every possible combination all day so I have came to the conclusion that I will have to sign up for one of those newspaper archives websites...

Yea I am with him, trying to stay under 3 grand. Really want the Seal but I think I just have been brainwashed into thinking its better because of the "name." I know some people on here really love their UStech laminators.

I am needing a laminator, and I am torn between a slightly used Seal 62 Ultra C plus or a USTech MVT-600. I can get the used Seal for 2000 or the UStech for roughly 2500. The Seals rollers are I think 3" diam. and the UStech's are 5" diam. If I am not mistaken the Seal does have a takeup and...

Thinking now I might just use the gemini pads and than run some white pvc over the threads to hide them.

whats to stop the sign from accidentally being lifted off the cleat by someone bumping it? would running some glue/silicone on top of the wall cleat before mounting the sign help?

I am installing a backlit acrylic/hdu interior sign. I need to install some kind of standoff from the wall for the LED's but I don't want to see the standoff bolts in my sign. I have looked and looked and I haven't found what I am looking for. Am I over thinking this? Thanks.

That's correct. We don't cut anything bigger than 16ga steel, but we cut 1/8 alum flat no problem.

Still here at sema, and damn my legs and feet are sore. I went to the summa booth but I didnt know which one was you Casey. I think that if you are even remotely into cars you have to go to sema at least once in your lifetime. When they say its crazy, that's probably an understatement...
