Did explain that part of the deal was for me to install them and yes nobody seems to care. The company my customer got these trailers for had offered to bring them to my shop but my customer is against it. He wat's them decaled beforethey leave the factory. My customer is the money man n this...
Good Advice from everyone. And I did screw myself by not charging for production time. The only time I've done that and the last. I've already started production material was paid up front so now I'm hosed.

Have a customer of mine I do alot of work for get me a bid for some trailer work 10 units. Long story short making no money on the production part just on the installation big mistake. The customer told me from the start I would be installing these at the factory and I agreed no problem...
Me To. I have 30 trailers I'm doing for 3 different customers plus some interior wall murals for another and they all think I can have everything done the next day. And they act like it kills themto payfor material up front as well. Sure I have 15000 to throw at your materials then get stiffed...
For uv and indoor displays it's a really good machine. We thought about getting one after seeing my buddies in S. Carolina. But needed something for more fleet roductions. Good direct to substrate printer. Gerber has always had good products.
Unless you do alot of wraps, what are your niches and maybe go with that. We do wraps to but I don't advertise them because we do alot of large fleet work.
OH MANN, had that done 10yrs ago and it HUUURT. Needles under the toenale then tey cut it out scrape it out Id rather get teeth pulled and I mean it. Then it just grew back the same as it was. I've had the problem for years and got divorsed 10 yrs ago and never got them again. Kind of wierd huh.
I'm good friends with a buddy who is my comp, but he gives me all hs big work and we both make out really good. I have another company who I'm not close to but they have given me some removals. I think the ones who don't want to work this way are not secure about their customers.
Didn't we have this question a couple days ago. So here goes again. I used to be a member when they first started. Good for bigger comanies with alot of installers but they like all organizations have a buddy system. They want to know too much about your company, Who your vendors are do you have...
The thing is they are driving the install prices down. Once they get everyone certified they will not have to pay the premium price for a good installer now that they have alot to choose from. They will (The Lowen Certified Installers) see their wrap installs go from lets say 600.00 for a cargo...
When they started their certification, I told everyone this would happen. Next their comp will do this to. It will have a bad effect on all of us. We don't have the millions they can invest in equip / and advertising.
That has been the problem with some of the reflective materials we all are using these days. Did some new cop cars in Florida 3M reflective printed etc... And the same thing happened here. I had a 3M rep take a look and I guess we needed to wait a day after we print and then laminate the...
