  1. How not to get the job

We hardly know what the tone of the "boss" was. So to immediately assume it was condasending and all that is just ignorant. But the point being he was running late the day before because he couldn't find them. The wise thing woulda been to spend the time the day before and find the location...
  2. Patrick... the miracle.

People like this should be sentanced the same fate as their victims. :frustrated: I don't know how someone can simply do something like this to anything. :noway:
  3. Rapid Remover/Cut-Thru/Goo Gone supplier... by the DRUM!

+1 on this. I hate GooGone - it seems to dry quickly or doesn't penatrate as well as other removers. I think that its better for home usage, your smaller goo messes.

  5. Laminator Issues

+1 on that. I try to have a few different size roles of lam as well. make sure you have rolls that match your print vinyl. If you buy a 36/38" roll of print. Carry a 36/38" roll of lam. this will eliminate the constant use liner paper.
  6. Laminator Issues

I've run the laminate down to just a few inches of extra when laminating before. It feels really good when you estimate it to be exactly right. :thumb: But it REALLY sucks when you underestimate and you run out of Lam a few inches SHY of finishing a print.

This is something that you can figure out by knowing your squarefootage cost. Your cost is gonna be different then my cost and their cost. It's about your area of buiness. 10. HP v/s Roland

Got one - pretty sweet being able to handle material minutes after printing. Speed is alright ONCE IT GETS GOING. It has a slow heater time so going from sleep or first print in the morning or after lunch takes a few minutes to get going but once its up its good. haven't had to do any...

  12. Decals on sliding windows

Obviosuly edge irritation is going to shorten the life of any vinyl. Like Zigns said, you can put down an edge tape or I use primer 94 along the edges of all window perf whether its on a usable window or not. But even with that, if its moving up and down the edges get battered. Timberwind has a...

  17. Industry Topic................

I think this is where the line is drawn. It becomes an issue of the law when you start to promote that you are a distributor of Trade marked/Copy righted images for a profit. WHen you start putting yourself out there as a dealer of such images and when you are taking money for an item that you...
