Hey all, I have been noticing this happening a lot recently. I don't usually do too many plaques but when I do I get this crazy "waterspotted" look all all over the metal that was heated. I'm making sure the metal is fine before hand, I make sure to pre treat it by having the heat press upper...
Hello all, have a pretty noob question here that I can't seem to find a answer to. I plan on getting a clear cutting mat for my work table. However I can't find info on how it would secure onto the table? Does it get screwed in? adhesive? It's meant to be flipped over after a few years to use...
seems like your black is as well. Would make sense since cyan and black are on the same head on the sp540v. When was the last time you did the full maintenance? (wipers, cap tops, dampers etc.) Did this just start happening? Might want to also take a look at your bi-directional settings?
Seems like everyone is having issues with Flexi and Max OSX. I would recommend installing windows on your mac. Its really simple and wouldnt require purchasing a new computer. Download/install VirtualBox.
Install a copy of Windows as a virtual machine. You will be able to have Windows OS...
(UPDATE/FIXED)Thankfully not! I had heard that might be a problem. (Bare with me as I’m learning all about this machine with time) Tech came in and disconnected the line with black ink that splits the 2 ink lines into 1 via a nipple. At first the tech said that the line was not snug in the...
Makes sense, thanks for the reply! I guess I’ll take another look in the morning, going to have to call the tech again regardless to fix it, whatever it is. I wish I can just tackle these problems by myself already.
Well it seems like every day there’s a new problem with my sp540v. I was running a job when the color suddenly the artwork turned from green to brown. I canceled the job, did a test print only to see that cyan was not firing. Did a couple medium head cleanings and a couple ticks appeared but...
well tech came and basically said he just uninstalled/reinstalled versaWorks as well as uninstalled/reinstalled the driver. Bam! back to normal printing speed. I would like to say that the power outage is what caused this and I'm just going to assume the printer and windows 10 shutting off all...
Any other ideas guys? My tech hasn't answered me all day. Really at a lost of what this is. He was my only hope really because he had fixed this exact issue before. Its clearly something with the data and the network, I just printed a small job of stickers which printed fine, but anything that's...
thanks for the suggestions! Task manager was fine, will definitely try the winsock command.
for future reference the command seems to actually be "netsh winsock reset" (for Windows 10 at least)
thanks for the reply, but its printing both ways, just very slowly. I talked to my tech who said to reset the network. So I unplugged everything for 20 minutes to no avail.
Sorry for bumping this but it has happened yet again..another power outage. (clearly time to have the Roland connected to a battery backup) the tech came last time and fixed it in like 20 minutes, at the end he said it was a network issue (like most mentioned) but I didn't shadow him to see what...
I would just do the 6 month maintenance (cap tops, dampers, wipers, scraper). Kits range from $100-150, you can do it yourself if your comfortable or have a tech do it. Preventive maintenance is key.
