i think you should follow the normal gerber evaluation routine we always use blow out with compressed air reseat all the plugs and connectors (if you want to scrub the circuit boards with alcohol and perhaps resolder all the HEAVIER jack connectors on circuit boards look for "ringed" solder...

if you are that close to end of roll, and need to go right to the end, can’t you tell the rip you are printing on a sheet? if I need to use up something to end of roll I tell the rip on the Mutoh 38 inch print on 40 inch sheet for example. It print to 2 inches from the end
