  1. Letter track / rail looking for a light weight type (picture attached)

Hi all, I'm looking for something as similar as possible to the tracks in the picture. What happens as you can see, they just use cardboard, or thick paper, and not the typical plastic letters, so I don't want something super thick and stiff like the regular tracks. Appreciate any ideas or...
  2. Changing Cutting Strip on Graphtec or Vinyl Express

Hi, I'm totally baffled by the replacement Teflon strips that Graphtec and Sign Warehouse (Vinyl Express) sell. They are totally flat, which has nothing to do with what the original plotters have (Q-100 similar to Graphtec F8600 & Q-54 similar to Graphtec F8000). The plotters have a thick piece...
  3. Window perf on truck window

Your customer seems to be more than exaggerated with his cleaning needs... But, other than that, I have recently been using a product that removes the silicons, wax, etc. from glass surfaces, after we had issues with vinyl not wanting to stay on some old windows: Rapid Prep. Question for the...
  4. Clean latex ink smudges on vinyl?

I have a perfectly beautiful banner, white back and black graphics, except it pulled on one side and got some ink smudging. I know this ink is hard to remove, anything that has worked well for any of you? Thanks for reading!:signs101:
  5. Load Reverse Wound banner on HP L260

Super blue indeed, it's a long left over banner material that we bought when Fellers discontinued a lot of colors, it has tons of plasticisers (sp?) but I've printed with solvents also with good results. It is very durable and tough, more than the printable 13 oz stuff.
  6. Load Reverse Wound banner on HP L260

Update, results of print It printed all 10 ft without a glitch. Some spots were a little faded out, but no problem there as it is for our personal use and to be seen from quite a distance. Here's a picture of the print.
  7. Load Reverse Wound banner on HP L260

I just found another post on the same subject, and went ahead loading the material, indeed, no problem at all! It detected that it is going in the other direction. Thanks.
  8. Load Reverse Wound banner on HP L260

Hi, we just got this gently used latex printer, and getting to know it. Happy with the quality of prints. I have a 61" reverse wound banner material that I want to use, have not been able to find any info on how to load it, attaching a picture here of how it is right now. I can imagine that...
  9. JV3 printing colors in wrong places

Thank you Heyskull and WalkerP The ink is actually flowing back on the opposite lines of those 2 printheads, so we ordered a set of caps and also pumps, etc. to get hopefully all this resolved. Gratefully, the wrong color has not gone all the way back to the tanks, but somewhere in between.
  10. JV3 printing colors in wrong places

No, ColoPrinthead, this ink has been used for many years. I'm suspecting something with the pump and/or capping stations, don't seem to hold the solvent without draining almost right away in those 2 problem locations.
  11. JV3 printing colors in wrong places

ColoPrinthead, thank you! But not at all, have not changed a thing other than do the regular cleaning, etc. I opened up the top and saw that the ink on the Magenta for instance, changes from Magenta to Black within the tube from the bulk system to the heads, and it did not change color or...
  12. JV3 printing colors in wrong places

This just started, doing 2K, CY, cc instead of normal KM CY cm. I had not even noticed the KK, because the other goofy cm (before turning to cc) was looking so strange... I use a Triangle bulk system and inks coming out of there look fine, not so by the time they get to the hoses leading to the...
