I think most of your are making to much of this, and looking at the OP's finished product as a negative, I like to think of it's potential positive side. I collect photos of bad signs, both bad designs and bad installations to show clients what to expect if they go with the low bidders out...

I use a Virutex slitter to cut narrow strips of vinyl, it uses a guide fence you can set for like a 4"' wide strip, run it along the vinyl and you get a precise factory finish cut. It's made to also slit plastic laminate, which it what I purchased it for, then found it could do a great job...

:goodpost: I was just going to mention the Big Squeegee, it works great when your doing something this size by yourself. The only thing I do different from the video, is place a flat panel of some kind over the substrate panel to protect it as I move down the panel. :thumb:
