Thanks for the advice guys. We are going to go with the 220cc from our distributor, and yes we do use OEM Roland Inks.
We haven't done too many regular cleans, even at that they are regular settings, not a high power clean.
Maybe it is because a lot got used up in the setup. Can't think of any...
Hey guys,
We have been using our printer for about ~3 months and we have had some ink droplet problems on the prints so have probably done more manual cleans than should have been needed, but we haven't had any problems for a while. However, we have already run out of our cleaning solution...
Is DreamScape as high a quality of wallpaper as Rite-Media MuralTex or Roland Wallflair? We have a potential big job coming up for commercial grade and are looking for the highest quality media we can find.
Thanks for the advice guys. Too bad on the HP PVC-Free wallpaper.
We are looking into Korographics now. Also we initially wanted Wall Flair but our supplier carries Rite-Media MuralTex so we have been using that. However, Wall Flair is actually less expensive, so we might have to look into that...
Thanks for the advice Mosh, will definitely consider it! However, I'm also wondering if when you put the transfer tape on it all of a sudden isn't sticking and starts to peel off, not sticking, especially on the edges. We try to push it down on the liner but it just comes right off in 4 or 5...
Hey FatCat, thanks for the advice. The best advice we have gotten is that we should be rolling up with a tube inside to prevent any kinking. If we do it rolling it regularly with the vinyl facing outward then we get major kinks, is that normal? Should we be saying that the roll is a dud?
Also...
Hey everyone,
We have been doing some wallpaper prints on MuralTex Removeable Fabric but we are looking at a more regular wallpaper media.
Is HP PVC Free Wallpaper the way to go? Or Dreamscape? We have a Roland XR-640 to print on.
Which do you guys prefer?
Heard the installation of HP is...
We are using Rite-Media Med Tack, however we are now looking at other brands. Talked to our supplier and they notified us that it is not meant to stick to the backing of the vinyl at all which is one of the main issues we were noticing because it was making it very hard to roll, especially on...
Hey everyone,
We are looking at either shipping pre-stretched canvas or shipping the stretcher bars ready to assemble and weighing out our options.
Is shipping pre-stretched canvas tough? It looks like it might be too much of a hassle so we are considering only shipping the bars ready to be...
Hey everyone,
Have a bit of a newbie question for everyone if you guys don't mind! :banghead:
We have medium tack premask that just isn't sticking to our decals. Do we need to be using high tack? Could temperature be making a huge difference?
Would appreciate any input before we buy a new...
Thanks for the advice guys, much obliged! We have been running nozzle tests and everything has been looking good.
We have been noting this on multiple media.. we get our profiles from our distributor but we haven't updated them in a few months. Should we just be looking for updated profiles...
Hey everyone,
So we have an XR-640 that is printing pinkish hues on any grays. Is this a damper issue?
Would appreciate any help!
Thanks,

Hey guys,
So a customer wants a boat vinyl decal and we have some Orajet 3951 lying around.
Don't have any experience with boat decals...do we just print it like a normal decal and they apply it as you would a wall decal?
Thanks in advance!

Excellent tip rjssigns! We will make sure to do that!
Also, DKgrafix, I'm just wondering why 5-10% increases each time gets a better result? So basically I will end up using Perfect Resize a few times on the same photo until I get where I need?
Rjssigns are you saying that I should resize in...
Hey everyone!
So we are working with some images around 6500x4500 plus or minus 1000px each way that are going to be viewed up pretty close, wanting to be able to resize them to about 100" x 140". We are using Perfect Resize to resize to the desired size at 100ppi and then using High Pass on PS...
