aside of the truck insurance wich costs me about 1600/year. I have a mill policy for installing signs that costs about 4,000 / year. total cost for a small shop insuring correctly is costing me about 5,500. The truck goes out 5x a year and that cost is paid. The rest of the year is gravy.
Sounds like my day yesterday! woke up to two inches of water flooding my entire house. Evacuated the family to the office, dug trenches and cleaned the house then went to pick up the family and hydroplaned through a light striking a car and totalling it out. Wasn't a fun day.
The best way to ship the signs that I have found is to buy hardboard aka masonite for $10.00 a 4x8 sheet and sadwich it inside. I ship a lot of Items all over using this method. Never once had an issue.
times have changed. My main accounts arent even in the same state I am in. I ship 70% of my work out now. Google rates web site now by using social media. I have yet to make a twitter account and looking into it now. I'll be sure to revisit this thread
