  1. RIP and resolution question

Bob, I do have X5. SO how would I do it? I'm not familiar with Corel like I am with Flexi.
  2. RIP and resolution question

I'm sending images to be printed and if I enlarge an image to be printed, what tools are available to prevent the print from blurring with the enlarged pixels? How can I increase the resolution so the image remains clear? I'm using 7.62 Thank you for help
  3. Flexi Question

If I'm understanding you rightly, I convert to EPS and then convert to PDF with Primo PDF converter and send it out.

  5. Anyone recognize this font?

I found the font and it has an interesting history. AW Conqueror Sans Light Thank you to those that looked.

  7. FC7000-75 problem: too much force required to cut on left side. Help!

I've replaced my cutting strip with one I made from sandblast rubber and it works fine. I use my machine for making pounce patterns, so I replace it every three years.
  8. Phont ID please

I need one word in this font. Can someone ID it for me? Does anyone have it?
  9. Custom Drivers????

I'm happy with my old 7.62 version. I don't print and investing in the newer versions offers me close to nothing that I can't do now...except, I want to buy a new cutter and the old Flexi does'nt have drivers for the new plotters. Anyone have any ideas ?
  10. My first credit card charge back! Woo hoo!

Could you use the cut off's and pop rivet them on to the panels to enlarge them to what will fit his cabinet?
  11. How to get a c-45 license

C-61 is what you need to install non electrical signs, C-45 for electric. I thought it was four years of certified experience, at least it was when I did it. The qualifications that you described are all pertaining to the design side of the signs, not the mechanical. When you're wiring someone's...
  12. Best Place to buy Flexi?

Bobby Fosson at CS Supply might still sell Flexi. My experience is that I buy from who provides the most knowledgeable support and will be there for me when I need it. I used to get that from JSI, but they decided to provide support for those that buy their vinyl and the equipment doesn't count...
  13. Cutting Sandblast Rubber-Making Pounce Patterns

How many of you folks cut the heavier rubber, like the Anchor 155, with your Summa? How does it cut? How does it track? How often does it skew and cost you material? What about making pounce patterns? How fast is it? Does it make enough noise that you can't hear the radio? Phil @ Summa thinks...
  14. Plotter Comparison Help Please

I have an FC 7000 and am wanting to replace it and considering another brand. Graphtec seems to be a different company than who I started with several plotters ago.
  15. Please Identify this...

Today I scraped some vinyl off a window and I must say it was rather attractive. The letters were a white that looked like a pearl and I assume translucent. There was a shiny chrome outline that wasn't a Mylar or polyester, it felt like a vinyl. Anyone able to steer me in defining these products...
  16. Plotter Comparison Help Please

How would you compare a Graphtec to a Summa ? Cutters only, no printing. I need something that cuts rubber and makes pounce patterns as well as cutting sticky back stuff.
  17. Logo Vectorising

I find it odd that the C up top is a different font from the text underneath
  18. Blasting HDU

I've been blasting redwood for a while and am rather familiar with it. I prefer a high tack rubber that will stick to bare wood. Will this work on 15# and 18# foam? Do I need to paint the foam first to get rubber to stick? I don't really want to get a whole new product in my inventory just for...
  19. Any way to make Flexi 7.5 work on windows 7???

I've had no problem running the old Flexi on 32 bit Win7 and being that I don't do the digital printing see no reason for the upgrades.
  20. Sequential Numbering

Thanks, all. The comment above Bobby was the instruction I needed. I couldn't do what I wanted with it though. I was making a thermometer to measure donations given for a project. I needed increments of $10,000 from $0-$180,000. I need the zero on th bottom and the t180k up top. I couldn't...
