Drastic Improvement!!! Looks very professional and inviting. We are in the midst of doing the same thing.. we are the only place in our plaza without a channel letter sign and we are the sign place! Needless to say, we are scrounging up money to get it done ASAP. I really think it will help us...
I had my rep send me a sample of the Oracal stuff and it looks a lot better than the DI-NOC stuff.. this has a semi gloss finish to it and really replicates actual carbon fiber a lot better than the dry carbon stuff.

Thanks ProWraps for the K&J source.. I just picked up 10 as well with the rubber covers! I'm glad I stumbled across this thread.. I was close to ordering them from Fellers.
I have actually used 3551 on a few SUV's and big International Cabs and it actually worked fairly well... I haven't heard any complaints from the customers but it did take a little more effort to fit to the curves than the 3951 would have.

We have used the Oracal 970 in gloss black for customers cars and you really can't beat the fact that it has the air egress adhesive and the black is nice and glossy! We are doing 2 color changes in the next few weeks both in the same Oracal 970 red.. oddly enough one is a STi. I'll post a...
Well thanks to everyone for the advice. The install went pretty smoothly for my first attempt and I think everything came out pretty clean!

So you actually filled the recesses with foam huh? How did that hold up? I've also read that you can use reflective to bridge the recess and it holds up to wear, etc. Anyone else used this method?
Prism1... I'm not sure of the year but here's the proof he signed off on for reference. It's an old DHL truck and was surprisingly in good condition without any graphics fading on the paint, etc.
Is the 3M 380 really that much better than the Oracal or Arlon products? I realize the 3551 RA is a performance calendared vinyl but what about the Oracal 3951 RA or the Arlon 6000XRP? Any thoughts?
