They have converters at Best Buy on the USB conversion cable. It originally came with Colorrip 2.0 with an update of 2.2. The driver should be on Roland's website (If not) There is a Roland dealer in Cleveland get on Roland's website get their number and call them for a manual and driver if you...
could be the encoder strip. We had the original sp300 we had nothing but problems with it when it came to cutting. We had it do the same thing where it would lift up and not apply the same pressure throughout. Then some print and cuts would be flawless.
If they have not checked recently you might be shocked to find out the print heads went up to $900 a piece....so I would say its going to be more than $2k unless they have left over stock. If it's an sp300 and not the versaworks model I would sell it as is if its the sp300v model it would be...

Are the CJ-70 print heads epson 300 print heads like on the CJ500 and FJ-52 models? Does anyone know if the capping station and the dampers are the same as the CJ500 or FJ-52 models?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!:thankyou:
I was just curious if anyone has used the graphtec fc2250 flatbed cutters for die cutting? If you want to share your experiance with this machine please do so cause there are no local dealers around us to demo one right now. We need to die cut out prints with registration marks and were looking...
Yes we set it up there. No one is picking the phone up at flexi and Im not sure if I need any type of download or extra drive to make them communicate.
Does anyone have any tips on getting a mimaki cg-fx cutter to work properly with Flex 8.5. Do I need to download any drivers from Flexi cause the install mimaki disc request adobe ill or corel. Any help would be appreciated. I have the original install disc and its hooked to the correct port.
We have had the same problems too. It seems as though the results improve if you move the media clamps out pretty far. We also noticed that it read crop marks better on smaller prints than on wider ones. We would even have it read them....start to cut then go all the way to the back crop mark...
Im just curious if there is a demo to download so we can try out the Flexisign pro 8.5v1. If anyone knows if such a thing is available and where at please let me know.
Thanks:cool1:
Actually we are doing testing with it cause we just picked up this model not too long ago. Its not a product for a customer. We are trying to dial in the printer and get used to this colorrip. If this was for a customer we would cut it out by hand. Thanks for the reply.
Ok so we printed out a file in colorrip to our sp300 and print and crop marks came through perfectly. After the print was complete the PC crashed. The cut lines were not sent to the cut Q.
Is there a way to resend just these cut lines without re-printing?
From what I can see its either...
Im not sure if this is the correct place to post this but we have some stickers that need to be through cut. The thickness is 15mil-20mil vinyl and laminate. We have looked at the Zund machines and they are what you get solid machine at a large price. Our prints come in sheets of 6ft long by...
I was wanting to know if anyone has tried switching from Dye sub inks back to eco sol maxs inks in the roland sp300? Im assuming everything would need to be replaced on it internally. Just curious cause we found one at a good price. Any techs out there interested in replacing the parts PM me if...
