  1. Web site critique and suggestions please.

Using FireFox 3.6.8 The page you linked. At the very bottom this is what I see. It may be that you intended on this but it looks odd to me. Is your logo supposed to be on the very left of the paragraph? Almost looks like it should be to the left of the "Art Type Extra" image.

  4. Design positioning

Do you put the .01 border on the "finish size"? If you were doing a 2' x 5' banner would you put the border at 24" x 60" or a little inside or outside?
  5. How do you store it?

ok good enough for me =) Just wondered if there were any ill effect of storing it flat. I'll store it upright then. Thanks
  6. Design positioning

I designed a 2' x 5' banner. I'm printing on 38" material. The banner design has roughly 4" of white space all around it before the text to allow for hemming etc. When I go to print my banner, Flexi is forcing all the text to the very bottom and right. How do I set this up so that it's...
  7. How do you store it?

Looking for a simple noob answer... Banner material, Lay flat or stand up on end? Will banner material create a flat spot like vinyl does if laid on it's side? Thanks
  8. Only One Copy ?????

Set your computers up on a network and then leave the dongle in one computer. This way it will eliminate the need to move the dongle back and forth. You will just need to remember to close Flexi when your not using it. I do all my designing on my Desktop that is built for performance & design...

  10. My first wrap

So my dad has been bugging me to do something to his tailgate now that I got my printer. Oracal 3651 w/210 Lam. Took me about 20-30 minutes to apply. Not too bad for my first wrap attempt. I'm not too happy with the tailgate handle but he was ok with it. We'll see how it holds up to the...
  11. Vinyl Material Recycleable?

We have 2 trash bins next to our weeding/masking table. One is for the vinyl liner and excess paper masking tape and the other is for trash. We empty the liner material into our paper recycling tub at the end of the week. My question is (which never occurred to me till now) Can I recycle the...
  12. Random number/letter generator w/load feature.

Apparently you missed the part I mentioned in my first post.
  13. Random number/letter generator w/load feature.

Random would prevent customers from guessing product id's. The id's are going to be what will identify a download able product. When one pays for an item and gets their product ID then I don't want them thinking they can get a different one by a sequential ID. Which is why I want to also have...
  14. Random number/letter generator w/load feature.

Not a damn clue what your talking about, lol
  15. Opinions on this set up.

I'd love to have that for my gaming rig <3
  16. Random number/letter generator w/load feature.

For example a SKU system. 3 letters in front will determine the category, 7 random numbers at the end will make up the product ID. Thus the need to be able to save/load feature so that existing numbers are not replaced or duplicated.
  17. Random number/letter generator w/load feature.

I'm looking for a random number & letter generator that will allow me to add a suffix/prefix to it. I also need the ability to save the list that was generated to a file and then LOAD the same list back in to generate additional random numbers/letters when needed. This is important so that...
  18. Simple copywright question

Was looking for more of a "Yes" "No" kind of answer. Seams a bit too far fetched to be able to copyright a picture that I took myself, unless of course it's my picture of a picture (like the Mona Lisa). I want to offer products with pictures on them that I took myself, like when I went to DC...
  19. Simple copywright question

If I take a picture of the Statue of Liberty, Eiffel tower, Lincoln Memorial (any well known landmark) etc and print a poster/vehicle wrap/wall decal or anything of the sort using my own picture that I took and SELL it. Am I breaking the law?
  20. Do you leave your printer on 24/7?

There is no other switch/button on my printer other than the power button on the fascia. My machine is the 48" ValueJet from SignWarehouse. The machine has several fans underneath it blowing out. My biggest concern is that over the next few months/years LOTS of dust will build up inside the...
