  1. Chevrolet tailgate inlay

Send em to Amazon or Ebay. Those things are everywhere, in vinyl, plastic, even CNC metal inserts. Not worth the hassle.
  2. Wholesale large format printing

Where in TX are you? Dallas here, we use Inkjet International/Teasley or XL Digital locally, Signs365 online.
  3. News So Long Latex 792 and LX610 Inks...

I hate our 26500 anyway, so hope it does go into obsolescence. It takes 5 times the maintenance as our 560
  4. Want to buy legal seats of Flexi Pro 11-

Log into SAI Cloud and upgrade like the rest of us. They more than likely will not be supporting 11 soon, if they do at all now.
  5. "Strecth the type to make it look better"

I see designers do this to photos and logos as well. If you're trying to make ANY logo larger by stretching it in any way that's NOT proportional, then please, quit your job now.
  6. Summa not cutting properly

    try again
  7. Summa not cutting properly

  8. Summa not cutting properly

Well it's hard to sequence these cuts...mostly long lines. So there is a bit of back and forth. It's cutting like the vinyl is not tracking straight from one end to the other, but Im watching it and it's not moving side to side.
  9. Summa not cutting properly

So we have a fairly new S2 160 T. I am cutting a black vinyl grid to apply to a dry erase board. We do these all the time. Suddenly having this issue.. all my lines, which are correct and even thickness in the file, are coming out thicker in parts, way too thin in other parts. So it appears the...
  10. Redundancy

Want us to all run over and pat you on the back? Just kidding....smart idea. We at least have full backup to an external drive as well as cloud backup for all jobs and all of the main production PC. Now I just need to get more backup battery supply for all the PCs...had a short power outage this...
  11. What the #$&% is up with new notebook computers in 2019?

Also why do you need 64GB ram? I think 16 is realistically plenty for most anything....if you need more than that, you need a full blown workstation, not a laptop.
  12. Adding Employees

I don't think that's correct at all. So to do $1 million you need 10 people? No. We will hit 1.2 probably, with 5 people here (6 for the first 5 months of the year.)
  13. Sign Holder?

Looks like something you could easily make....cut some 1/16" Polycarbonate, banner tape top and bottom.
  14. Adding Employees

Are you asking monthly or yearly? I think it used to be $30k/mo sales per employee....a 5 man shop should be at $150k/month. Right now we are about that, but with 3 people (production/design combined) and customer service person. We are severely shorthanded and need a production person. And this...
  15. What printer should I buy? Latex or UV?

Huh....printheads are the smallest expense for us on the latex printers. Not sure what you're doing to consider them a great expense. How often do you change them?
  16. Need Help Window Perforated on window

Cut the graphic slightly smaller than the window and seal the edges with Sealit pen.
  17. Anyone have an old Ledco 30" Econocraft laminator?

I found the same thing....I assume that's the fuse they spec here. Only one it really could be.
  18. Anyone have an old Ledco 30" Econocraft laminator?

Need to know the amp size of the fuse in the back. Ours broke somehow and threw it away before checking the amp size. It's on the back, right side if you need to know...unscrew the black cap in pull it out. And yes, I've tried to find out online. Thanks in advance!
  19. Newbie RIP and print question

Add the cut lines to your file before you send to RIP. Draw boxes around whatever you want and convert them to contour cuts.
  20. Is there a way to move your plotter forward an inch from the software with out cutting?

Same goes for cut vinyl....plotter doesn't care if it's printed or not...
