Spoken like a vallued employee, I hope you get treated good.
  2. Frustrating

I couldn't agree with you more WB that's why I don't market wraps. I do a half dozen fulls a year and quite a few partials. If the vehicle is a nice color to work with I try talking them in to a partial. Charge them about half a full wrap, I use 30% material cost and the install is about 30%...
  3. Frustrating

Without knowing the design or more info that isn't 100% true. Who's to know if this guy didn't come from a high volume wrap shop. And most wraps with less design time look better. I did a partial wrap this weekend on a van and had 15 minutes of design time in it.
  4. Frustrating

No offense that's about the going rate in most cities.
  5. Rigid material such as alumalite for short term use?

Besides the banner option most of these are going to be around the same cost per sheet as max metal from grimco. Unless you go with cheap 3mil coro you might as well just use max metal.
  6. Ink Carts 50% full but need to be replaced. HELP!

    Are they 220ml or 440ml?
  7. What do you collect

Nice to see so many old rippers are on this site. Props to you plus 40 dudes still kickin it. I showed your collection to my buddy when I dropped off the decals. He "claims" to have been friends with him. He was extremely impressed with that framed piece. He went on and on about a SS series I...
  8. Font help

Yes I tried tracing it and the center came out great, but the outside radius text wasn't clean enough.
  9. Font help

Apparently I have always printed this logo (for years) Now I need to cut it for etched glass look on their door. I can come close but it is the ends of the "C" and "S" that isn't matching. As always any help is appreciated
  10. What do you collect

WOW impressive, someone likes dogtown I'll be 40 in August I skate as much as humanly possible. I have about a dozen decks but they are all beat and not worth displaying. I wish I kept them all but the oldest thing I have is a H-Street Jason Rodgers from around 91. I'm part of a old man skate...

  13. 2 questions please :0)

I don't think you can do chrome or frosted edges. They have a weak chrome like effect but its weak. Welding converts text to paths and adobe filters were always there for me (maybe a upgraded version?) Btw I hope someone proves me wrong about the frosted edges look
  14. Booze in the shop?

Like everything else it all comes down to moderation. I always have a beer in my fridge. If its after hours and I have drank a 2 liter of coke I will grab one. Never once been drunk at the shop nor had a employee drunk. If I eat lunch at a place that serves and have 2 I am not productive at...
  15. Mutoh VJ 1204 problem

first step is always print tests through the main menu of the printer. This will tell you if it is a printer problem or a profile or rgb/cmyk or a multiple of possibilities
  16. What Brand of Tape...

shurtape isn't as bad as the other knockoff's I think it is LOWE's house brand. But if you get the scotch brand bulk packs it is close to the same price. That green or blue stuff is twice as much, either I am cheap or I use way more tape than most.
  17. Gino's origanal

Will it work in cold temps?
  18. New 4x8 sign

Do it the right way, order WHAT YOU NEED from a supply company. If there are 33 shops then there is at least 2 companies that drive down the street from you at least once or twice a week. I highly doubt they won't drop one off with a credit card #. Usually it is a $100-$150 minimum if at all...
  19. New 4x8 sign

You never said you tried tubelite. Try calling a Sign supply Co. Are you applying vinyl? I'm sorry but you kind of sound like someone that is trying to make a cheap sign for your business and not a sign maker at all. A. A 4'x8' is not a "big sign" B. Coroplast is not for permanent
