I do this all the time. It is a window tinter's trick for cutting down large rolls of tint into workable sizes.

You shouldn't have a problem with that plotter cutting window film. You may need to play with the blades and settings for different films. The most important thing is having a wide range of pressure settings. Higher quality plotters do a better job on films as they can be a pain. Take your...

I can remember a problem like this a couple years ago. Flexi would run a bit longer than what you are saying but suddenly just turn off. For us it had to do with my dongle taking a crapper.
