My Mutoh 1608HS is setup to do a cleaning at the end of each print and every 4 hours when not in use, and still having problems when printing with missing colors. I have gallons of waste ink next to the printer. My Roland do a cleaning once a day and works great.

Same here, Roland is been a work horse, but the Mutoh has been the worse purchase of my life. Buy Roland!!!

The company I bought says "The reason is because the nozzel check on the Mutoh is better than any other machine and you can see any missing nozzels better." :omg::omg::omg: (I don't believe this bs) I have a Roland eco solvent for almost 4 years and never had a missing nozzel.

This is by the company I bought it. this is my second machine The first one was a "Lemon" and they exchange for this demo unit.

I have missing nozzels on the black since the day of the installation and they are getting worse on the black and Mutoh said that a 5% of missing nozzels is ok in a brand new machine. Have you ever heard this before? my prints on the dark colors has banding even at high quality. Thanks,

I think ChicagoGraphics means make a DOT and place it where you want it.

Power off the printer and move the head manually and find out where the knocking sound is coming.

I use Sam Ink for my Eco solvent and they work perfect. They call me every few weeks if I need more ink. I'm really happy with their customer service.

Same heating settings?
