I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to offset crop marks in Onyx. I see how to set edge marks, but I need the marks to generate inside the bleed so I know where to trim.
I'm using a HP FB750 with the white ink loaded and Onyx as my rip software. I need to know the best way to get the best opacity on a clear plexi print. Is it possible to increase the white output to give the print a better backing?
I thought I had set it up right. The swatch is named "White" with a capital "W" and spot color is activated, but the flatbed still printed it as magenta.
I read some instructions online about setting up a file to print white. It said to create a "white" swatch and set it to "spot color", and that it wouldn't matter if it was actually white. They used magenta so it would be visible on the art board. My understanding was that it would translate as...
That's the conclusion I'm coming to as well. In the Cutting Master 3 plugin, the option was right there on the same menu where you would send a job. I use multiple types of media, and don't like having to change the machine settings over and over. Makes room for too many errors.
I'm using the Cutting Master 4 plugin in illustrator. I've figured out just about everything I need except for doing a test cut. I've found where to do it directly in Cutting Master, but I can't figure out how to do a test cut based on the pressure settings in the plugin. Any help would be awesome.
That's all I'm seeing. That specific one in the photo comes in a bag with 4 tracks that can be interconnected, but I'm not finding one similar anywhere.
I'm trying to find this specific cutter to purchase for my shop, but I'm striking out left and right. It comes with tracks that can be pieced together for custom sizes. Used to use one, but can't find it online anywhere. Or, if anyone has any suggestions about cutting 1/2in ultra board without...
Is it possible to print a document with multiple pages on separate foam boards, or do I have to break the job up? I know how to do multiple copies of a single image, but I'm not sure if I'm missing something.
I actually just found my solution. Our installer/trainer told us you only had to set the left and leading margins at a negative value, but I had to set all 4 to ensure the image wasn't clipped. Apparently he had been lucky and always had the images print perfect to the edge.
