I have tried adjusting knife pressure threw the cutting Control and the plotter control panel. The knife holder action works but does not respond to any increase or decrease in knife pressure. Only adjustment to the knife pressure is manually moving the knife holder. Any Ideas?

I just looked at the GR-540 on Friday. The machine looks very impressive in person. Very well built. I also took a the Graphtec FC8600. Both seem very impressive. Don't know much about the performance detail comparisons. I'll be making this exact decision end of this year. Printer/Cutters...

Budget is always a consideration but I really like the control and small footprint of a manual lam/mounter. I cant imagine others not wanting this option also.
